Below Noordgouwe Mr. Cornelis Mulock possessed the country home "the monastery Sion". It was a country home built on the grounds of the former monastery. He obtained it via his wife Isabella Oostdijck, who bought it in January 1725 from Suzanna van der Schatte. The place consisted of a house, barn, summerhouse, walls and further buildings and plantages, sonsisted 10 measured 254 roeden. In March 1776 it was sold to Jan Huijbrechtsz Landenet for £ 183: 6: 8. At the transfer there was discussion of a country place with house and various garden ornaments, including a 'Turkish tent', garden vases and wooden obelisks. The plantings consisted among others, of a star woods and a parterre-de-broderie. The country place was built on the walled terrain of the former monastery of Sion, on the side bordering the Kloosterway.
